Myth, a mystical energy that flows throughout the world of Skole, penetrates and concentrates in all of its varied inhabitants. Those capable of channeling this great power have come to be known as Mythics. Under King Krillios of the Kingdom Gryser, Mythics are conscripted to become the legendary Mythic Knights.
Long ago the people of Skole lived in harmony with the creatures of the Myth. But over the last few generations, imbalance has divided them. The Myths of old have become the horrors of today. As a Mythic Knight it is your duty to command what forces you can muster to hunt down these creatures for the greater good of the Kingdom!

Mythic Knights is a fantasy turn-based tactics game set in the magical world of Skole. In Mythic Knights you'll command a recently promoted Mythic Knight, following his journey to assemble a squad to protect the kingdom of Gryser.
About Our Project
Greetings humble traveler! Thank you for showing some interest in Mythic Knights. This game is a project for Minneapolis Media Institutes Bachelors in Media Business. In a years time we'll be going through a full development cycle. We started back in May of 2016 and schedule for an early access/beta at the end of March.
We currently have random mission set between two unique environments and a premade squad list and.
The squad make up is a Mythic Knight wielding the magical staff channeling Myth energy, aiding your allies and harm your foes. The other squad mate is another Mythic Knight that specializes in close range sword melee attacks. The final squad member is a hired Mercenary that deals with long range bow attacks.
Our pathfinding is fully operational allowing you to command your soldiers and attack the enemy. We upgraded our camera to allow nice fluid panning and rotating across the battle field.

What We want to add
We already have a hub town level where you can move your main character around and interact with different things. Currently you only can go to the mission board and select a choice of missions to go on. We would like to utilize this area more by opening up the merchant shop where you can buy items. Have the town Inn available to shop for new mercenaries to aid you. The barracks allowing you to customize the look of your solider and their load out. Last but not least the enchanting shrine to infuse your items with Myth energy giving them unique abilities.
We would also like to add more weapon types such as spears, axes, Myth guns to name a few. We also want to make a few more different environment choices and add in a full campaign. We believe all of this and more is possible with the support from the community we are hoping to build together.
Creative Director/Lead Artist Kurtis is one of the original members of the project. He's been developing the art style of the game. Kurtis has been developing the story of Mythic Knights for the last seven years.
Programming Director Ben is one of the original members of the project. He laid out the programming strategy for the project. Ben has been coding for three years. He was the lead programmer for a previous project.
3D Artist/Community Manager Garrett is one of the original members of the project. He's been creating 3D assets and designs for the project. Garrett has three years of game community management experience and four years of 3D art experience.
Programmer Tom has been an instructor at the Minneapolis Media Institute for four years. He has been programming for nearly ten years and is a founding member of Big Unheard Of.
UI/UX Designer Tim recently joined the project to develop two dimensional user facing graphics. Tim has five years of graphic design experience.
Programmer Brennan recently joined the project as a primary programmer Brennan has five years of programming experience.
Audio Engineer Mark engineers all sound effects and music necessary for the project. Mark has four years of experience as an audio engineer.
Environment Artist Dustin joined the team to apply a level of polish to the project's environments. He has been creating 3D assets for nearly ten years and is a founding member of Big Unheard Of.
